RWA’s retired Army Master Gunners and technical experts work toward one goal: to provide the safest and most realistic training experiences for our soldiers. Since 2001, they have led the live fire training community in expertise and commitment to their customers.

OUR HISTORY

The RWA team has the most experience with live fire training rules and regulations. Having helped develop the guidelines and worked with some of the largest bases across the globe, the team has the most qualifications to manage all stages of your live fire training program from planning to construction to maintenance.

Range development in action

RWA has worked with more than 40 of the United State’s military bases at home and abroad to design the most realistic and thorough training experiences for soldiers by guiding range designers through the development, construction, and management of their ranges.

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) Support
    RWA’s Master Gunners and subject matter experts work with you to identify your range’s unique needs and develop a Live Training Master Plan that meets those needs. With more than 150 years of Training Support Systems experience, RWA has the tools and experts to ensure your plan is realistic and sustainable for the future. RWA supports Major Army Commands to: Collect detailed training intent from subordinates Align units to suitable installations and create requirements documents Develop requirements documents Enhance operational readiness, mitigate risk, and optimize resource allocation
  • Professional support
    RWA works with installation range managers to provide guidance for and facilitate range development or maintenance repair processes. They act as the go-between for USARC, FORSCOM, and range managers to ensure soldiers are properly equipped with the resources they need. RWA collaborates with facilities to: Advise installation range managers with RCMP project development materials Consolidate ARRM submittals for the USARC’s 19 Major Subordinate Commands Coordinate with USARC and FORSCOM on MR briefings
  • Construction management
    Range construction requires meticulous detail, expertise, and collaboration. RWA's comprehensive process ensures your range meets the standards for military training. The RWA construction process: Design: The RWA process starts with thorough site planning and assessments. Installation: The RWA team handles all construction including site prep and installation. Inspection: The RWA team implements quality control measures, and performs compliance evaluations once installation is complete.
